My sweetness at Katie's soccer tournament this past weekend. I am having trouble figuring out how to unload pics off of my camera onto this Mac. I sometimes wish I hadn't gotten it because I don't feel competent using it. It aggravates me not to be able to do something! If anybody knows how this should work, please comment!

Noah and Em. Em is the one with the small crown mohawk and she of course pulled out her coordinating hairbow that was very cute and matched this juicy couture outfit. (karie, do not comment on this part! Just think about baby #4 will be a girl and all the cute outfits you will have easy access to!)

And this is our soccer star who we are so proud of. She came to us, saying she didn't want to cheer anymore. We couldn't be happier!

We were able to spend some time with my parents during Spring Break. Because of the economy, my dad is having to work out of town and we rarely see him. I was so thankful for this small amount of bonding time between he and emily!

These two keep me on my toes. But I absolutely love the relationship they share. They are both truly crazy about each other. I hope they stay close.

My little stinker at the Botanic Gardens...

Daddy, Noah & Em

Another little snippet of the stinker. Might I add that I picked up her spring pictures from daycare and was again offended by the prop. I hate props! Not only did the backward upside down stuffed rabbit prevent the photograph from being a spring pic rather than an easter pic which i think will look weird at christmas, it also covered up her cute, embroidered pink dot name on her a line jumper with polka dot bows. i am somewhat bitter about this.

We went on a day during spring break to the Botanic Gardens. Pictures are of course mixed up but cute nonetheless!

Here is Noah corrupting Em with violence from weapons of mass destruction. She would much rather play with Noah's guns and swords than her kitchen, dolls, etc.!

Here we are celebrating Gary's 38th birthday! Yes, he is old but so young at heart :-) (just in case he reads this.) You may notice Emily's little sprout of hair on the back crown of her head. It has just gotten long enough to gather this tiny sprout and clip a bow in. I am in heaven, she is not. She pulls them out most of the time. But, I enjoy it while I can.

Em & Katie. Emily loves her big brother and sister! She walks around the house calling for them when they are not home. She also walks around the house calling for me. Not "Mommy", mind you. But calling "Brooke", like she hears them do all the time!

Yes, this is my much too mature 12 ear old stepdaughter at her sports banquet. This dress of course I did not choose and had no idea that her mother would put a push up bra on her and the bottom of the dress is right where this pic cuts off. Yes, I know the next few years are going to be terrible. I dread it!
Em says hello and apologizes for us staying so busy. We are so thankful that Katie has decided not to do cheerleading and do soccer again. I have nothing really against cheerleading, but we really did have a negative experience and her mom was so dramatic about everything - it really caused Katie to spend too much time around her mom. It wasn't good for any of us. But, competitive soccer is much more time-consuming than cheer, and with both Noah & Katie playing, we stay incredibly busy. Em is growing and changing so fast I wish I could stop time (not to sound cliche', but all you moms understand this). She does the cutest things that aren't as cute for me to list - but one of my faves is she constantly does "Ring around the Rosies" (yes i know the true meaning behind this little diddy) and says "Ashes, Ashes, all fall down!" and falls down. She talks constantly, although I don't always know what she is saying. She is just in a silly, funny stage and I love it. Enjoy the post! More to come...
