We went swimming at our friend Laura's house a week or so ago. em wore her itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny red polka dot bikini. i, on the other hand, did not want to do permanent damage to my children's psychoschematic development. I wore my whale suit. Em was not phased by this. However, she did not enjoy this duck. And I did not either. I am actually pretty bitter about this purchase. The stupid 40+ UV blue sun shade would not even stay up!!! We have now purchased a spring float to try on our trip to Florida.
Gary and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary on Wednesday. Honestly, it feels like it has been much longer. He gave me a beautiful card and a sewing machine! I was really surprised. I have been wanting to learn to sew for awhile. We went and ate dinner at Jim's Place in Memphis. We will be taking a 3-day vacation by ourselves to Pigeon Forge in a couple of weeks! Yea!
