Yes, I'm a bad mom because i am just now posting about my little pumpkin's first birthday. It really did turn out well. We had about 40 people in all, but it all went so good!
Things About One-Year-Old Emily:
* she has 6 teeth: 4 on top, 2 on bottom
* she likes to ride in her little car to watch katie and noah get on the bus each morning, and then she waves bye-bye to them
* she likes to put the telephone up to her ear and say "hi"
* she loves chocolate milk
* she loves applesauce and bananas and no other fruit!
* she goes to bed around 6:30 and gets up between 6:15 and 6:30
* she loves to get into small areas! like crawling in between the legs of a stool, or getting in the dog kennel!
* she is walking all over the place. she started this around 11 months, but it is still weird looking up and seeing her walk around the corner.
* her favorite thing to do is to sit in the shower and eat popsicles! this does make life easy. does anyone else try to multi-task and put their kids in the shower with them???
* she loves to find brushes and try to brush her hair
* she loves to bug our dog, toto! when we feed him, she will go to the bowl and feed him one piece at a time. i know he is like, "get out of the way!!!!!!!!"
* she loves katie and noah. when they go out to play, she will follow them to the door, crying and waving bye-bye.
Weight: 19.1 lbs
Height: 28 inches
I can't remember the head circumference, but it was the 75th percentile! Yep, she's got a big noggin.
